My Nokia Lumia 1520 just fell off from my lap and top glass was broken. No touch function. But all other functions and images are working fine.
Suggest what all need replacement, because the guy I met and service centre is asking for hefty amount which comes about half of its purchased price

The full screen looks like it runs about a 100 bucks on the internet. I also see you can purchase the glass for about 15 bucks. Separating the glass from the screen can be quite a task, often special equipment is needed. I would check ifixit for a guide to see the difficulty of the repair. If you think you can do it knock it out! I would also compare the glass only repair to the full display repair to see if your comfortable doing one or the other. hope this helps!
