Yellow Screen and Wont Turn on?

I have an iPod touch 2nd gen and it wont turn on unless plugged in, then when it does turn on all it shows is a yellow screen.

Ive checked the water damage indicator and its white.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I had that happen the other day. It seems that the battery was so low that it would turn on to the yellow screen and shut down. Just plug it in to charge and leave it for a while.

Yeah - yellow screen can indicate battery too low (and firmware is corrupted, so it can't show the battery icon). Let it charge overnight and try to restore it with iTunes.
