As of today i can't boot my acer v3-771 anymore.
power indicater blinks 5x orange light, but thats about all it does.
can't even hear any propeller or nothing, if it werent for the light i'd say ot was a dummy :/ anyone experience this? pitty , was fairly new, well taken care off ... cant' just let it go like that!

It could be a problem with static discharge , if so do the following.
1. Disconnect the power cord
2. Remove the battery
3. Hold down the power button for 30 seconds , then release for 30 sec and then hold down for another 30sec
4. Plug in power ,replace battery and power on laptop.
If this causes no Joy try this.
Remove memory and reinstall one stick at a time, if there are more than 1 dimm of ram, try each stick in each slot one at a time to see if the memory is ok and to determine if one of the memory slots is bad.

Are you sure your power adapter is not faulty? Try asking a local repair shop if they could test your laptop with a known good power adapter, and see if the laptop boots.

i got a friend that has the same laptop , well, 771G and his adapter is the same, i tried his on my laptop, and mine on his, and 2 x mine didnt start up and his did, so its not the adapter, someone said to me its a burned transistor but thats like a way to fast conclusion without further investigation imo
