touch screen replacement inquiry

On page 19 of the HP ENVY x360 Convertible PC - Maintenance and Service Guide, it list the display and bezel glass as two separate components. There was no spare part number listed on page 15 for it. I did find two part numbers on page 19 for the display kit. They are listed as:

774602-001: Raw display panel kit for use in HD models (includes bezel, fix bracket, touch control board, and backlight cable)

774603-001: Raw display panel for use in FHD models (includes bezel, fix bracket, touch control board, and backlight cable)

Both are available in the HP Parts Store.

In order to determine if you have and HD or FHD model, I would suggest entering your serial number into the HP Parts Surfer. Once you've entered your serial number, it should bring up the specific details of your model.

Under the display category, it should indicate which display you have. You can choose this if you order through the Parts Store.

Since these parts are between $800-$900 from HP, you may also want to contact HP Authorized Parts Partners and inquire locally to electronic recyclers or repair shops in your area as well.
