What cable do I need to connect to a MacBook Pro? Laptop.Solved
I want to plug my Projector -Entertainment ll to my laptop. Can I do that? What cable do I need?

Different generations of MacBook Pros use different external video connectors. Please give us the last four figures of your serial number so we know what you have. Also what type of a cable do you have coming out of the projector?

The last digits are 7YJX. Coming out of the projector is the 3RCA AV only (you know, the 3 colors one, yellow, red and white.)

HDMI to RCA adapter for newer macbooks.
otherwise you need your specific macbook model's monitor out port to RCA. Possibly to video only, then a phono to RCA adapter that you plug into the headphone jack of your laptop to get audio into the projector.
However, I think it is better to download the app "Boom" for Mac to enhance your MacBook's internal audio or just use some cheap computer speakers.
