Power button pushed in approx 1mm
Advise, the unit shuts off without cause, Apple store did diagnoistics but takes 5-7 days to get part,
I need to try and repair?

The edge of the power button might just be jammed/caught under the back case.
Try wiggling it side to side.
If it doesn't pop free, and is under warranty, as already mentioned, let Apple take care of it!
