Golf cart stopped working

I have a 1996 Ezgo 36 v golf cart. While riding it had a hesitation when I pressed the gas and jumped forward. Then it wouldn't move in reverse or forward. When I pressed the gas it would make a clicking sound. We check battery voltage and everything was ok. So we replaced sylenoid thinking maybe it was bad and now we have no clicking sound and cart still won't move!
