My usb port was damaged when I dropped the camera while I was transferring pics to my computer.How will I replace it?

Dan, the USB port is soldered to the main PCB. Here==>> eos_40d_disassembly.pdf<<== are the disassembly instructions right to the main PCB. Then you will have to un-solder the port and replace it with a suitable connector. If you are more of a visual learner, check this video. Just slow it down:-)
