MacBook Pro will not power on after liquid spilled into right ports.

I have a MacBook Pro 13inch Early 2015 that a little water went into the computer through the right side ports. I opened it and could see that the liquid submersion indicator next to the fan was red, that was the only one though. I didn't disassemble the whole computer but I did leave it open and let it dry for 78 hours. There is no visual shorts or blown circuits. The only thing that caught my eye was on the battery logic board, looks like a little corrosion has built up on the board but the liquid submersion indicator is not red. Here is the part https://d3nevzfk7ii3be.cloudfront.net/ig.... Left of the liquid submersion indicator all those solders have corrosion. I used some alcohol and try to clean it up some, but it didn't seem to do much.

When I plug in the AC Charger the light comes on (can't remember which color). But I unplugged the battery from the computer and the color was green and I pressed the power button and it would still not come on. Then I plugged in the battery to the logic board (while the AC Charger was plugged in) an the computer booted up. I was able to log in, so the keyboard works. I didn't think to check health of the battery, or if it could even see it while it was booted up, I was just happy it booted up. Then I turned it off and tried to power it on and it wouldn't start.

So I am thinking it is one of two things. Either the keyboard since it would turn on from the power button. Or the battery because of the corrosion.

Tomorrow I am going to run AST on the computer if I get it booted up again to see if that can tell me anything.

Anyone have any thoughts? Any further steps to take in determining which is the cause?

Does anyone know how to power on the laptop without the power button? Power pads?

Thanks!

What you should check is it the computer will charge the battery?? Also you really should take apart the computer fully and remove the logic board and IO board and make sure there is no corrosion on them. After that you might be lucky and have a working computer again that you should keep away from liquid.
