Will replacing my motherboard fix powering and charging problem
Will replacing the motherboard on my Galaxy S3 T999 fix the powering up and shutting down problem and the unusable charging port?

Yes it would, however, you can also replace the USB charge port for a lot less $$ and solve your problem as well. Soldering skills would be necessary though.

I agree but I dont have a soldering tools but I have purchased extra batteries and a battery charger. The real problem is my phone randomly shuts down and takes anywhere from one attempt to turn on to a whole day.
