Has anyone diagnosed this hardware yet?

I have an original PS4 CUH-1001A (I pre-ordered it and picked it up on the release date) that has been experiencing freezing. When the freeze happens, the video usually shows some random diagonal red dots and there is usually a buzz sent through the TV speakers. I've replaced the power supply because one of the resistors looked like it overloaded. No help. Tonight I booted the system into safe mode and the system froze within a few minutes. Before that, the system ran fine for almost an hour tonight (I actually updated the system software after my son watched Netflix for a while), but I've had it freeze within 10 minutes before. I did identify bad HDMI solder last week, but I think I have that fixed now. I'm looking forward to a productive conversation, but I will verbally abuse anyone who asks me questions I've already answered.

Thanks, everyone.

How are your temperatures? Is the PS4 hot to the touch around the time when it freezes? Are the fans running super loud? Where do you keep it? I'm assuming since you've opened it up recently that you cleaned dust and junk out.

If its overheating you might need to reseat the components with new thermal paste and double check to make sure the system fan is spinning up.

The system fan runs normally, and the unit is not hot to the touch. Since posting this question, I have removed the motherboard to check for any obvious bad solder connections, which requires reapplication of thermal compound to reassemble. After that, I still had the same outcome. With the problem occurring anywhere within 5-40 minutes of starting the system, I don't think it has enough time to overheat.

Interesting. Some people have had success performing firmware updates on their machine to stop the freezing. I'd try that as a next step.
