Are the battery power connector for sale?

Hello,

I have one of these Macbooks. I got it wet and the screen and power stopped working. I opened it up and unplugged and re-plugged in the display and that works. Only problem is that the battery connector board is corroded and may need replacing as the Macbook only works with the charger in and holds at 56-58% charge and then turns off when the charger in unplugged. I may also need a whole new battery set.

If they aren't for sale, where would the best place be to get them from (in the UK preferably)

In fact, iFixit has the top case+keyboard+trackpad+battery assembly in stock right now, for $525. PowerBookMedic.com has several elements of the 13" Retina battery system available. Similar to iFixit, the battery is not cheap:

Battery Bridge Board (I think this is roughly what you mean by "power connector". If so, it's a lot cheaper than a replacement battery, which you probably also need)

Battery Mounting Bracket

Late 2013-Mid 2014 Retina Top case w/Battery

Once we've found a retailer carrying the part, we can use the Apple part number we find there (Apple #661-8154) to search for additional options:

NewEgg/used - $379

This vendor does not mention a battery, but the photo of the item clearly includes the battery. commandMacParts.com - $156-257 used

New assemblies ( both from eBay and from online retailers) appear to be coming from Chinese vendors at prices ranging from US$600 on up.

Thank you so much for the help! It's at times like this where living in the UK isn't so helpful because we don't get these American stores that sell the parts :D I don't mind buying form the US for this because Apple just said it needs a new "logic board" which would set me back £800... I'll go with the one from DV Warehouse as I just need the battery and battery connector as it seems. Thank you very much for your help again!

$524 for one part, why not just buy a new machine... who needs all of that replaced at the same time???

zzz, I just need a battery so that's only $169. But $525 for that whole bottom part is like half the price of a whole new thing so it's worth the buy if you can get it.

I'm unclear whether Apple sells refurbished machines outside the US Apple online store; can anyone overseas confirm whether that's an option? If not, overseas purchasers may have fewer low-price options than Americans have.

adlerpe, I'm not from the US, but I did find 2 sites (PowerMax and mac of all trades). I'm not sure how good they are but they seems fairly good from initial thoughts. If you're out of the US so from the UK etc. you will need get a large shipping charge in most cases and then Customs Tax when it's being imported on top of that. So that's something to think about.

Are you sure this is 2013 and not the 2012 model? What does it say on the bottom, A1502 or A1425? If A1425, you can't be missing "THE SCREW." If you are missing "THE SCREW", you are &&^&@@ because you will not find it for sale anywhere.

This is the A1502 model but it looks exactly like this one. I'm not missing anything, I just have a broken Battery Connector board that needs replacing

That is part of the battery. If there is damage to that, I would suggest replacing the entire battery. Should be about $89.

Ah, just as I thought. I can't see the battery for sale on iFixit and it doesn't seem too easy to find any on Google. I can have a better look around. Do you know where the best place would be to get one from? Thanks
