Unresponsive Touch Screen Before and After Replacement

This iPhone is practically out of the box perfect and in mint condition. The screen out of the blue became unresponsive so I opened her up and inspected all the cables and connections. Everything looked completely fine so I restored it to factory with no prevail.

I purchased a new screen/digitizer for the phone and just finished installing it. I have quite a bit of experience doing phone screens as I do it for a second job. After the installation was complete I powered on the phone only to find out the screen is STILL unresponsive to touch!!

Is there something I should be looking for besides the ribbon cables?? Ive definitely checked it MORE than enough times before closing her up.

The guy needing the phone is leaving for the Philippines on Tuesday can someone PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!
