The screen turns off

Hi,

I have a mid-2009 iMac 27 ". The problem is that the screen is turned off. what I have currently connected to an external monitor, which has no problems, I discard it video chip problem.

When I climb the brightness, it turns off. The iMac continues to work, because I work with external monitor.

What would be the problem and how I fix it?

The power supply heat sink appears to be running hot. Given the fact the LCD temp is low, I suspect your issue is a bad power supply. In this case the backlight power feed. See if you can see the desktop using a flash light if you do then the backlight voltage needs to be checked.

and flash light as the insert into the monitor ?

完成的

Aim the light from the flashlight into the front of the glass of the display. The light will act like the backlight. It is so you can see if the desktop image is present (faint image)

完成的

I put a lamp on the monitor (remove the projector) and you see something, super little. I uploaded a picture.

That proves the issue is the backlight system in the display. If you hold the flashlight at an angle you should see more of the image.
