Why won't my battery hold a charge?
I place my handset on the base unit but the battery will not charge.

Be sure that the base unit is plugged into the wall (and has power) and that the phone is placed securely on the base unit. Also, the phone will need to be charged for a period of time before initial use.
If the phone has been placed on the charger and nothing has happened, then make sure the battery in the handset is fastened or it may need to be replaced.
