Wont boot with sim card inserted

Hi guys ,

So i have an Iphone 4 here which i was working on for a customer that stopped working and wouldn't restore.

New power button , battery and charge port later and the phone restored and booted fine.

Only thing is the phone hangs on the apple logo and goes to a black screen with any sim card inserted. but without a sim it works fine.

Im assuming this is an issue with the sim tray am i right ? looks clean inside and i cleaned with isopropyl 99%

Any help or suggestions are appreciated .
