It won't turn on, why?

My gopro hero 3 black won't turn on again, but when I plug it to a computer, the red light turns on but there is nothing to see on the tiny screen, and won't respond. I don't remember causing any damage to it. This happened on the mountain while I was skying, and since then it didn't turn on anymore. Waiting for some help, please.
