Speaker Audio Intermittent, But Headphones Work Fine?

So I've tried all those "tap here" "tap there" "push down" etc ideas floating around out there. My Audio works fine when headphones are in, but I checked the audio jack to make sure it wasn't "stuck" (like many apples tend to do) and that did not help. The audio "turns up" and is not muted, but I cannot hear any audio, IE ring tones, video audio, MP3s etc through the loudspeaker.

I have a Developer's phone (red) if it makes any difference.
