screen worked then went white then black?

Hi,

I replaced the LCD and digitizer on iPod touch 4th generation and it was working fine for a couple of days, suddenly after clicking on message app the screen went blurry then white, I tried hard reset, restore from iTunes(but get error 9006 halfway through), now I took the screen off again and put it back together all I get now us a black screen? ITunes still finds it so its turning on ok. Any suggestions please?
