Can moviess be loaded on the 1st gen
Can movies be loaded on the 1st generation or can you put in another lcd so that it can display music vids etc.

this is not repir related, but yes - the 1st gen nano is able to do that - but only if you install rockbox (click)

Hi Markus,thank you for your prompt reply, but i had a look @ the site you provided.As you read, i have a nano 1st gen. & looking @ the site for the iPod i have it says the following :- Unstable Ports Rockbox runs on these players, but is incomplete, less usable or has problems that limit it to advanced users:
Apple: iPod Nano 2g
Please advise if i should use the Stable Ports ?
hi sergio, look at your copied text - this is the text for the nano 2nd gen. rockbox stable ports: Apple: iPod 1g through 5.5g, iPod Mini and iPod Nano 1g. you can use the installer and let him do his job - if you don't like it, you can always remove it

Rockbox means you will change the original software ... bye bye iPod interface.

yes, but the rockbox is way better than the original interface - i use it on my nano 1g and it's great
But if you use rockbox will you still be able to use it on iTunes? :S

yes, itunes will still support the nano
