I have a small crack on my laptop. Aesthetically it's easy to ignore if I can get over the fact it's no longer perfect :'(
The crack causes the touchscreen to behave randomly which has led me to deactivate it. I'm looking to replace this touchscreen with any capable touchscreen.
Is this possible?
Do you have a link to a guide?
Do you know where I can find this part?
Do you know where I can send it in for repair?

Go to this site and enter your serial number and machine type to look up the part number:
http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/ibasepar...
Then do a Google search for the part number for the best price.

If you have a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro,
Here is a link to the section in the parts list showing the part number for the lcd panel (item #4 90400232).
If you search online, using the part number ONLY in the search box of your browser you'll get results for suppliers of the part.
Try a different browser, they all worked for me,

I have a lenovo yoga 2 8 inch tablet with a cracked screen. Recently it's also decided to stop charging. i don't know if they linked or not but I could certainly do with some advice on fixing both problems.

Hi Chrissy; yes, our well used (although only just over a year old) also has both a cracked screen and won't take any charge due to the fitting being worn and damaged.With twice/thrice daily charging I think it's a weakness of the plastic surround. Otherwise a fab machine so we rely want to get it fixed!

I have a Lenovo yoga 8" with a damaged screen. It's only 6 mths old so still under warranty. I went to JB hifi were I we got it, they inform me that. They will send it to Lenovo to get a quote which will cost, then the repair will cost again. How many cost!!!
So mad at this point. I then call support to confirm this they say the same thing. Omg money money money what they !&&*. No one can give me an answer. Never again will I get Lenovo!!!!
