Why won't my dv2000 hold a charge?

My dv2000, won't hold a charge for longer than 5 minutes. I've had it for about 5 years now and it wasn't giving me any problems with holding a charge until now. I have no idea what is going on, can some please help me???

maybe the battery is bad, you just have to replace the battery. here is the link check it out http://www.amazon.com/Replacement-Batter...
