SSD disk swap to MB Air possible?
I have a MBP 15" Retina (A1398) with broken display, and my daughter has a MBA (A1466) - is it possible to swap the SSD from this MBP and to the MBA to upgrade it's storage capacity?

No you can't swap them as they use different I/O technologies. What you can do is take your old one out and put a new one. Here's one company that offers a unit for your 15" MacBook Pro Transcend - Jet Drive
