Vizio M551D-A2 Won't Turn On

The Problem:

I have a Vizio M-Series HDTV, model: M551D-A2, serial: LWJJOJDP5201371 that refuses to come on.

State Before The Problem:

The TV was on but not in use, except to charge my Blackberry Z10, and I just noticed after a while that it had gone of, so I used the remote to try and power it back up, but nothing happened.

Troubleshooting:

I have done a power cycle, of both the TV and the remote, but still won't power on.

Observations:

The USB Flash drive where I keep my music and have plugged in permanently to the TV, has its LED light on, showing it is connected and powered up.

With the TV plugged in, connecting my blackberry device to the device's usb indicates that my blackberry is connected to a computer, which invariably means the TV is receiving power, but any attempt to power it up using either the power button or remote has no effect.

I also noticed that the VIZIO wifi network which my phone and other wifi enabled devices detect (any time the TV is on) is conspicuously absent and not being detected.

The power led on the TV doesn't indicate power at all. Usually, it lights up and then goes off till you switch it on with the remote. Could this be the culprit? But then again, if it is, why would connected USB devices power/accept a charge?

What does this indicate?

What is wrong with my TV? Any help would be appreciated.
