Replaced Battery, Still No Life

  • iPod died
  • Will not turn on, no display
  • Replaced Battery
  • Still Nothing
  • Checked the PCB, no signs of corrosion or burning.
  • Took a voltmeter to the leads of old battery; read ~3.06V

Any ideas about what to do next?

I had the same problem with mine it was puzzling me for a while. Turns out it was the HDD that's why it wouldn't boot up. Try a new Hard Drive in it hopefully that should work.
