Did I install an incorrect antenna after replacing my digitizer?
I ordered (on Amazon, from Cellular ER) a replacement "BestDealUSA Flex Cable Wifi Antenna Replacement Parts for Apple iPad 2" for my iPad 2, and after reassembling, and getting the digitizer back together, Wi-Fi was spotty and I have almost no Bluetooth signal. Any Bluetooth device I connect has to be within 2-3 inches, or it will lose connection. The WiFi signal is also weak, but better than Bluetooth. BT devices WILL connect, but if I move it more than 2"-3" from the iPad, it starts to break up and then disconnect.
The same seller also has another cable described as a "Bluetooth Wifi Antenna Signal Flex Cable for iPad 2 A1395 A1396 A1397"
I now know that there are two different types of antennas or iPads; an iPad 2 Wi-Fi EMC 2415 and an iPad 2 Wi-Fi EMC 2560. Mine are both the iPad 2 A1395 Wi-Fi EMC 2415 models. Did I get the wrong antennas?
I broke the speaker connector from the motherboard when disconnecting it, and now ONLY have a Bluetooth option left. It is for my 5 Y/O anyway, so having to use his BT headphones isn't so bad. But, for some reason, 3.5mm wired headphones don't work anymore, either. Did I install the wrong antenna? Your site only shows ONE antenna for all iPad 2 models. Could I have installed it incorrectly? It looks just as your guide.
Please help.
