My cell phone won't power on or charge?

Hi!

I bought a new cell phone recently on a Chinese website. It arrived last night and I plugged it, the screen automatically showed me that the battery had a 75% already charged, but I left it anyway so it would complete it's charge. I turned the cell phone on to check it worked correctly and in fact it did for about 20 minutes and then the screen froze and the cell phone turned off. I left it all night and now it won't charge or turn on. I even tried to connect it on my laptop but it doesn't recognize the device.

Does anyone knows what can I do??
