2 i5C microphones not working at all.
Alright. I have an iPhone 5C. Screen was repaired by a kiosk in the mall. They did the repair fine, however shortly after the microphones stopped working.
The customer decided to bring the phone into our shop to have us take a look. I am an experienced tech and have tried the charging port. No luck. Tried the power button. No luck.
The device has iOS 7.1.1 on it.
Anyone else seeing a similar problem? This was the second type situation in a week
Received an update. Another customer with the same issue was able to find a solution by turning the noise reduction setting off. Have not been able to get ahold of the owner of the i5C yet, but working on it! I am beginning to think this is an iOS 7.1.1 issue

Hey Kyle & Jeff - did you ever sort this out? I'm experiencing the same issue after replacing my screen. The audio doesn't work for FaceTime or Videos. Calls are not impacted.
The noise reduction setting didn't help.
What's extra weird is if i lift the screen off, FaceTime audio will work normally. The second I get it seated back into the frame, just before screwing in the pentalobes, the microphone cuts out and no longer works.
