Problem with startup after computer fell
Okay, first it let me shut down and restart just fine after it fell, but now it is just making startup noise and stopping at apple screen and cursor is spinning --- any thoughts

Try booting from a Mac OSX install disk and see if the computer boots to the installer.
I'm thinking that the hard drive finally gave out - could have been caused by the drop. Worst comes to worst, your hard drive is dead and you can put in a nice fast SSD.

no dvd drive disk, what about an install usb, how do i force that
