Why is no air coming out of the hair dryer?

My sister told me that her hair dryer was working fine a few days ago but all of a sudden no air has been coming out. She said she has no idea how to fix it and wants me to do it for her. I have no experience with hair dryers, can anyone help me out and tell me what has possibly gone wrong and how I should go about fixing it?

does the heating element through tunnel have a red glow? if so it will be the fan needs replacing. if no glow it could simply be the plug fuse. fans are always first to go because of moving parts, then the element due to heat build up, especially when fan breaks down!!

The hair dryer might have some sort of blockage. You can start by examining the nozzle for any easily removable blockages. It could be clogged with hair or dust caught in the back grill.

If that still doesn't solve your problem, it is likely that the fan of motor needs to be removed and cleaned. You can refer to the Fan Motor Assembly Guide.
