Can a iPhone 4 screen replacement work in a iPhone 4s?
have purchased a black screen replacement for a iPhone 4 but later found out I have the 4s and was wondering will this iPhone 4 screen replacement work in the iPhone 4s ?

Actually the iPhone 4 LCD screen is compatible with iphone 4s' but the frame not. If you can replace a iPhone 4s frame on the iPhone 4 LCD screen, it can works also.
But what you should mention is that if your new purchased screen is original, it's difficult to separate the frame from the screen. And mention that what the version of your phone because the frames for 4s and CDMA are different, buy the right one.

i realise here that you mention a difference between the 4s and iphone 4 CDMA models screenframes, please could you answer a question that i cant seem to find the answer to anywhere, is there any difference between a the frames of an iphone 4s and 4 GSM screen frames?

The brackets on the screen are different and won't fit but the digitizer cable and lcd cable fit..
All in all the screen will not fit
