How do I know which sim card to buy?
i bought a used apple iphone and need to know how to find out which sim card i need

Sims come in 3 sizes Standard SIM (15 x 25mm), Micro SIM (12 x 15mm) Nano SIM (8.8 x 12.3mm) the iphone 3gs use a standard sim . You get them from your service provider but you will need to know to which one the phone is locked unless the phone is unlocked in which case you can use any provider hope this helps

Hi Joanie,
If you have the iPhone 3GS, then you'll need a mini sized sim card. This is what most phones use.
The iPhone 4 and 4s use a micro sim card, and the iPhone 5, 5c and 5s all use a nano sim card.
