After repairing the display, the phone can't make connection to the cellular provider. So it's not possible to make calls or to send text messages.
Where can i find the antenna and could I unplug the connector while fixing the screen?

The antenna cable is located right at the bottom of the motherboard just under the battery if you never removed the battery shield then don't worry about this.
Have you set the time and date correctly?
Connect to wifi and it will change it for you.
Changing the display should not interfere with the cellular service
