After screen replacement, phone has trouble charging.
Hey all, my first attempt at repairing an HTC ONE. All seemed well until I tried charging. It seems there may be a short in it...Another problem is it sounds like the speakers are rattling the frame, like it's not adhered to it. I own a cell phone repair shop, and thought I'd expand my repair technique to HTC phones.(Practice makes perfect) Is there a solution to this? I followed the guide iFixit Provided. Phone was put together PERFECTLY. Everything plugged in. Bought the screen/frame and a brand new back with it as well.
Update
UPDATE 1/17/14: Phone seems to charge with a blinking red light when turned off, but still won't take a charge when turned on. I'm trying a new method of opening the phone, hoping it'll be easier to disassemble. I'll keep everyone posted!
Update
I dissasembled the phone again. Come to find out, the charging port was slightly damaged in the opening process the first time. Charging port is replaced and phone is working 100%!
