After screen replacement, phone has trouble charging.

Hey all, my first attempt at repairing an HTC ONE. All seemed well until I tried charging. It seems there may be a short in it...Another problem is it sounds like the speakers are rattling the frame, like it's not adhered to it. I own a cell phone repair shop, and thought I'd expand my repair technique to HTC phones.(Practice makes perfect) Is there a solution to this? I followed the guide iFixit Provided. Phone was put together PERFECTLY. Everything plugged in. Bought the screen/frame and a brand new back with it as well.

Update

UPDATE 1/17/14: Phone seems to charge with a blinking red light when turned off, but still won't take a charge when turned on. I'm trying a new method of opening the phone, hoping it'll be easier to disassemble. I'll keep everyone posted!

Update

I dissasembled the phone again. Come to find out, the charging port was slightly damaged in the opening process the first time. Charging port is replaced and phone is working 100%!

Please make sure all the conductive tape has been put back on. Chances are, down by the battery, you didn't cover the terminals down there, and it is touching the back aluminum housing. I bet the phone is extremely warm before it shut off or while it tries to charge.

Take a look at a stock photo of the HTC One again before they tear it all apart, and make sure everything is exactly as that photo looks, otherwise, its toast!
