Hector Rodriguez, there are a couple of possibilities. Check the dock connector and make sure there is no corrosion, broken or bend pins. Clean it with some isopropyl alcohol, a soft brush and a few puffs of compressed air. Try a new cable as well. If that does not work, disassemble your iPod using these guides. Check the battery connector carefully. On this model iPod it has a tendency of breaking of the logic board. Make sure it is still properly connected. Should that be okay, then you are having problems with your power management IC, which will require you to either replace it (it is a SMD component and requires special soldering and skills, or to replace the logic board.
