No service after screen repair

I just replaced the screen on a Samsung D710 Epic 4G and the phone does not show any signal bars, rather a circle with a dash through it. When i was taking off the broken screen, the home, search, menu and back arrow flex cable ripped. I doubt that had anything to do with it because i replaced that part with another one. now it just displays the circle with a line through it and sometimes a greyed out triangle.
