1 Backlight problems and battery problems
My brightness goes off if I turn it down past halfway and it randomly goes off in the most inconvenient times and is very hard to make out what is on screen this happened after soaking my iPhone 4S and having to replace the battery. and when my phone dies it does at 4 percent every time now and won't let me know that it is charging when I plug it in its just a black and blank like its still dead like its not doing anything at all leave it plugged in long enough it magically comes back on at 4 percent.
Please help its not critical but I want to know what the !@#$ the problem is thanks

Did you check for corrosion on the backlight coil and IC?

No will this cause worse problems in the future in gone unchecked?

Yes the auto brighness is off

Yes, it could if it is corrosion. I suggest a good cleaning with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush.
