The red x after my iPod fell and froze
My ipod fell and froze when i re-booted it the apple sign came up and then the red x...please i need help ill take any advice

razor, the red X is usually when your iPod can not access your hard drive. Try to place the iPod into diagnostics mode and see what results you get. Follow the instructions given on here. You can also try disk mode and see if you access your drive. If you can not, you will have to open your iPod and check to make sure that the hard drive cable is still connected. If it is, you most likely will have to replace the drive. Hope this helps, good luck.
