Galaxy s4 Digitizer is Touching LCD

Its easy to damage your Galaxy S4 while trying to repair it yourself. I sent mine for repair and they do a great job. They fixed my S3 and my S4 and I could'nt be happier with the price and service they gave me!

I always put one row of 2mm tape on the lcd face along the bottom, top and sides to form a dust proof barrier. I had same problem with adhesive tape they sell for the phone. Since I started doing it this way I have not had the "Newton ring" you speak of. This can also be solved by using loca to reassemble. The s4 seems to have a tighter tolerance than the s3.

The only true way to fix this is to use Liquid Optically Clear Adhesive Or LOCA and that will ensure that there is no air gap to allow the top glass to touch the lcd/digitizer on your Galaxy S4. Even if you double up the tape, eventually the tape will get so smashed down and then glass will start to bow that the glass will touch the lcd again. Not guaranteeing that will happen but most certainly can.
