I can't turn off this iPhone, just after It turn it off, it turns itself on. BUt If I turn it off while it is connected to the Mac, it stays turned off.
Could be dirt, debris, corrosion in charging port. Could be faulty dock port. iPhone 5 still have full Warranty with Apple, so be careful what you do with it.
