5 Question about the Optical Drive
I don't mind the drive I have (it's the stock one), but with the wide variety of nerdy things I like to do, I was wondering the following:
What is the best Blu-Ray, slot-loading drive that you can buy that would fit in my MBP?
I have already done a little research, but would like more direct, expert advice (if-you-will).
Bear in mind that I have been performing computer repairs and upgrades for almost 10 years now, so I already know what's involved in the actual work ;)

Dan this is the other Dan - Sorry to say the mechanics of fitting a drive is not the real issue here, it's the device driver. Apple does not offer BluRay services in the OS. There are some external drives that offer there own software which is the way to go here (unless you roll your own).

I understand that the software side is a potential issue. However, that's not what I was wanting to know. I have a couple of friends working on decent software solutions for this issue.
My original question still stands.
