broken wired plug male end
the wire running from the screen connects to a small board with plug in's marked cn1,cn2, and cn3 my cn3 plug has broke. Is there another plug I can get or do I have to repair the one broke? .

Hi George,
I am not familiar with the circuits of the power jack board of a HP DV6000. However, I found this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/AC-DC-Power-Jack... (from China; with white connectors).
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-AC-CHARGER-P... (from US; without white connectors, just soldered)
Maybe this will give you an idea what you want to do.
I would probably just go ahead and replace it.
