iPhone 4S Serial Number Question

So, I had my iphone color changed from white to blue... But dropped it and had the person place my original white screen back on so I can take it to Apple since my earpiece and speaker don't work well since dropping it... But for some reason they are telling me that the serial number in Settings>>>General>>>About>>>Serial Number and the serial number inside of the iphone don't match. Not sure what the guy did or what piece of mine he might of switched whether on purpose or by mistake but how can I know where the other serial number is located? Need help please...

Aha.... I knew about the sim card tray but I think that's what happened... The one that is on the flex cable cover is that one that must of been confused and put wrongly on my phone...

iPhone 4S Serial Number is also printed on the small Flex Cable Cover (held down by two screws) of the Dock Assembly Flex Cable Connector to the Logic Board.

Matthias is absolutely right about the information. Now your phone warranty is avoided due to Unauthorised Modification. if you have same matching serial no . you can try to request them if they understand they can replace the phone. otherwise change the phone . Sell it and buy the new one .
