Position of second SSD?

Hey guys,

all guides für dual hard drives I found on the internet including the one on iFixit suggest to put the second hard drive under the superdrive.

I wonderd where Apple places its SSD's in the iMac?

do they put it under the superdrive too?

Seems kind of wrong to me because its right above of a fan.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that bad for cooling?
