iMac turns on, no chime, no screen

I am repairing an iMac 17" Core 2 Duo 2 GHz with the X1600 graphics. I know it's a late 2006 model due to the fact that i have taken it apart and looked at the graphics chip. Also Mactracker told me it was the iMac5,1 model MA590LL.

My question is what could be possibly wrong with this machine? From what i was told, the owners cat knocked it off and it fell to the ground about 2 feet. Now when i turn it on, there is no chime, the power light comes on, the hard drive spins up and the fans turn on but nothing on the screen.

I have tried the SMC reset (unplug for 15 seconds, plug back in, wait for 5 seconds then press power button). Same outcome, no screen no chime. I have looked at the diagnostic LED's on this machine and LED's #1 + #2 light up, but not #3. There is no #4 LED. The PSU in this model has no blown or leaky caps, and the logicboard has none either. I plan to buy a mini DVI adapter to see if it's the LCD, but i want to know if there is maybe something more wrong with this. Please, any help is appreciated.

Just got a Mini DVI to VGA adapter, and plugged it in. Turned on the iMac and nothing on the external monitor.

Just talked to WestWorld in Edmonton, and from their tech support, it's a dead logicboard. Different ram should have fixed it, but since it doesn't chime, it's a dead one.
