My Powermac g4 bombs but nothing comes up on my monitor
I have a Powermac g4 and it was working fine but when i booted it up, nothing came up on my monitor, what could I do to fix it?

I would first reseat the video card. See if you can test the monitor on another machine to eliminate it as a suspect. If your video card is a PCI card then try it in a different slot, of course if it's a AGP card it will only go in the AGP slot.

I would recommend checking to see if the cables are connected correctly. From what you've said it sounds like you need a new graphics card.

Is the monitor white or black? Do you get anything on the screen? Do you get a startup tone?

the screen comes up but saying no signal and yes the start up chime comes on
