Why won't my PowerBook G4 17" turn on?
I have tried a different outlet and a different power adapter and still nothing.

Phone a friend with a charged battery. Would you describe how this started? I could be the DC-IN port, but we have to check if it will start from a battery before proceeding. Do you get any light on the power adapter? Check the tip of the AC plug to see if the tip is broken.

I did not get a light on my power adapter, but i borrowed a friend's power adapter and the orange light came on not the green. I ordered a new battery and hopefully that will work. If not I will need more help. Thank You for your help.
The orange light means the battery is charging. Green light means the battery is full. Order a charger, not a battery.
