When we switched on our plumbed-in Hisense dehumidifier this season, it worked initially, but had stopped working (control panel had gone dark) when we checked on it the next day.

We found a manual online but it does not address how to disassemble or how to diagnose issues.

We’ve removed all visible screws, but can’t seem to get into it.

Seeking help with both how to dismantle and how to diagnose the issue.
