Rapidstrike not firing as fast as it could be, 1 Dps (Dart per second)

I tore apart my friends rapidstrike CS-18 to try to fix it and I was watching some footage of the blaster firing and it seems that mine has significantly reduced Dps, I did remove the resistors attached to the pusher because the connection was severed and I didn’t have the correct equipment and the patience to solder it back together, I was wondering is it because mine has been heavily used or is it because I removed the resistors that the Dps is low?
