You can try a factory reset to rule out glitches in the software interfacing with a new battery. Although there's always the possibility that you installed a non-OEM or subpar battery, or just didn't do it correctly at all. This is could be due to a hardware issue. Try the following options to troubleshoot: * Use a different charging cable and adapter. * Try charging the phone from a different wall charging port or a computer USB port. Ensure your charger and cable is OEM or high quality, that your charging port is not dirty or otherwise impaired, and reset your device. If all that doesn't solve it, then I'd guess your battery itself is to blame.
